Trade fairs bring visibility to TOTAL

TOTAL

TOTAL Romania took part in two trade fairs this year, one in Bucharest, and the other one in Târgu Mureș (centre). It was the occasion to promote our brand but also to increase sales.

The first trade fair, Construct Expo, took place at Romexpo, the main exhibition centre of the Romanian capital, between 26th and 29th of March 2015. This now well-known national meeting gathered professionals in construction technologies, equipment and materials for 22 years. It was the second participation of TOTAL Romania, who put up a spacious stand right in front of the main entrance. A special area was made available for an interactive football game where many children (and adults!) played. Another area was dedicated to meetings, where our specialists in bitumen, lubricants and special fluids welcomed the potential clients. “This year, the trade fair was more focused on individual customers and not on industrial ones. However, our brand gained in terms of visibility and awareness”, said Iulian Guțu, Bitumen manager.

The other trade fair TOTAL Romania took part in was quite different. First, it took place in the town of Târgu Mureș, in the centre of the country. And second, it was organised by one of our biggest distributors, Materom. For its first edition, which was held between 24th and 25th of April, the event gathered thirty renowned exhibitors, including TOTAL Romania. No less than three thousand B2B or B2C participants also accepted the invitation, which to us meant an interesting public consisting of shop owners and auto-repair shops. The TOTAL team offered technical details about our motor oil and the visitors were open to find out more about our products. “People still associate our brand with Citroën and Peugeot cars but this was the occasion to present our whole range of motor oils. Our sales have grown in the area by 1.500 litres compared to a normal month”, confirmed Alin Bujor, Sales representative for Cluj county (centre). These encouraging results must be confirmed in the next months.
