Distributors, still a priority for our development
At the end of May, a new distributors' portal will be put into service. Besides access to a complete set of technical specifications and marketing documentation for all our range of products, the new distributor’s portal will integrate also two administrative tools currently developed for TOTAL Romania.
The first one is called e-lubes and it’s dedicated to online ordering done by our customers, and the other one, called DocOnLine, offers an easy access for our customers to online invoices. All the orders booked by the customers will arrive directly in our SAP, which is an online 24h service; this is an improvement in terms of order processing time, including for our Customer Service department. Also, this way we avoid less duplication of data processes and less risk of typing mistakes. Our everyday business contact will also benefit from that.
The portal was presented to the distributors in January 22 and 23 on the occasion of our annual meeting which took place in Predeal. Before the traditional ceremony rewarding the best five of them in each category (TOTAL Lubricants, TOTAL Grease and TOTAL Lubrifin), we had an informal discussion on this topic. The distributors were enthusiastic about the idea of having access to a complete product documentation and the possibility to receive online invoices.
The objectives of the project are to provide more materials and better marketing support, to improve communication between us and our partners, to improve the fidelity of our customers to the TOTAL brand and to us. Work is still in progress in terms of programming and the portal should be put into service by the end of May. The distributors will join the network step by step and our teams will offer technical support for each of them. By the end of the year everybody should use the new tools at their full capacity.
